Did you know that the NDIS may call you at any time to do a check-in?
The participant check-in focuses on talking to you about your current situation, checking on your wellbeing and making sure your NDIS supports and other supports are meeting your needs.
If you receive this call and you are simply not prepared or not feeling confident to talk to the NDIS right at that moment, you are completely within your rights to ask them what they would like to discuss and request a call back once you are prepared.
You can also request a call back at a time that allows you to have your Support coordinator included in the call to assist with some of those tricky questions should they come up.
